Uninstall and reinstall GoFileRoom Add-In

  1. Follow these steps to uninstall the GoFileRoom Add-In:
  2. Open Windows ControlPanel.
  3. Select
    Programs
    , then
    Programs and Features
    .
  4. Select
    GoFileRoom Add-In
    , then
    Uninstall
    .
  5. Restart the workstation.
  6. Open Windows Explorer.
    tip
    You may need to show hidden files in Windows Explorer so that you can access the Program Files and AppData folders in the next step. The Microsoft Support website gives instructions on how to display hidden files and folders in Microsoft Windows.
    Troubleshooting steps, if required:
    • Delete all folders in
      C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFileRoom
       except
      GFRScanflow
      ,
      GFRUploadDocuments
      ,
      GFRFileImporter
      , and
      GFRLookupListSync
      .
    • Delete all folders in
      C:\ProgramData\GoFileRoom
       except
      GFRScanflow
      ,
      GFRUploadDocuments
      ,
      GFRFileImporter
      , and
      GFRLookupListSync
      .
    • Rename the
      GoFileRoom
       folder at
      C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\
       to
      GoFileRoomOLD
      .
Follow these steps to reinstall GoFileRoom Add-In:
  1. Check that the requirements in the GoFileRoom setup checklist are met.
  2. Complete the steps to install GoFileRoom Add-In.
