My account Preferences and Download utilities
To get started, hover over your username and select
Preferences
. On the Preferences
screen, you can customize user-specific preferences and control your GoFileRoom display experience.note
Available preferences depend on your product licenses and are organized by tab.
My account
Use this tab to review your account details, such as Sign-in, Full Name, Database ID, and to go to your Thomson Reuters Account to update personal information or authentication methods. This information is often requested when seeking Thomson Reuters Support assistance.
Display Preferences
Use this tab to select your preferred date format, starting screen, starting drawer, and starting tab. By default, GoFileRoom opens the
Search Documents
screen at startup. For example, making the selection Start on this page: Home Page
, upon your next sign-in to GoFileRoom, the 1st screen launched will direct your experience to the Home
screen. This is commonly selected, as open My Work
assignments, and recently opened document information is available.Email Preferences
This tab is available only to FirmFlow users. Use it to select your FirmFlow routing notification preferences. Turning on and off email notifications for FirmFlow workflows can be completed by Administrators of your firm, .

FirmFlow won’t send a notification if you route a workflow to yourself or if someone with an invalid email address routes a workflow to you. You can mark both checkboxes in the
Email Preferences
section to ensure that you are notified for all workflows assigned to you individually and to groups to which you belong. If you have administrative privileges, you can turn on detailed FirmFlow routing notifications. Also mark the FirmFlow Routing Notification (Groups)
checkbox for any groups that should receive these notifications.Downloads

- GoFileRoom Add-In: available to all users
- Upload Documents Service: available to administrators
- FirmFlow API Utility: available to administrators licensed for FirmFlow
