Tax code updates for 2025 tax season
Updated tax codes for the 2025 tax year are now available, ensuring seamless data export to your preferred tax preparation software.
UltraTax CS
Enhanced with new codes and updated line references:
  • Form 1040:
     Updated Schedule C line references for bad debts and other expenses.
  • Form 1120C:
     New dividend code for preferred public utilities.
  • Form 1120S:
     20 new rental property expense codes (550-569) for detailed expense tracking.
  • Form 1065:
     New energy efficient commercial building deduction code.
  • Form 990:
     Enhanced public support and contribution tracking codes.

Complete code libraries maintained for Lacerte Tax, GoSystem Tax, and CCH ProSystem fx with full compatibility across all supported entities and seamless integration with existing workflows.
