Audit Intelligence Analyze

General enhancements
  • Enhanced the upload and share functionality to display only supported subledgers: Cash, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Journal Entries.
  • Improved UI by preventing overlapping labels in Population Balance pie chart on Overview.
  • Restored 'Generating text' indicator when clicking Generate sample.
  • Ensured correct message displays for disabled Trial balance setup in consolidated engagements.
  • Corrected Accounts receivable and Accounts payable workpaper labels to Accounts Payable/Receivable respectively.
  • Standardized and clarified error messages for user-friendly identification and guidance.
  • Monthly Product Usage email now shows send date as Report date, removing fixed date range.
  • Fixed discrepancy between Updated Unit balance on Report page, Unit balance page, and Analyze tab.
  • The Trial Balance grid now shows 'Data upload pending' while a package upload is in progress.
  • Improved the performance of the Journal entry Overview for large samples (20K), reducing load from approximately 3 minutes.

Client communications

General enhancements
  • Corrected a persistent busy loader appearing when editing a document request multiple times.
  • Ensured client form table properly closes upon approving or rejecting.
  • Restored request details after assigning an email to the 'Individual assigned to request' and ensured that the updated email is displayed.
  • Corrected issues regarding the ‘Clear’ button when creating a request from template.

Engagement Manager

New Features
Engagement bulk Recycle bin.
Administrator users will be able to select multiple engagements in the recycle bin for permanent deletion, or to empty the entire recycle bin at once, displaying a clear status message of the deletion. This will efficiently clean up unwanted engagements, making it easier to maintain an organized workspace.
External API’s
  • We are releasing support for the UK region, offering improved access to your data.
  • We are introducing new Journal Entry APIs to add, edit, and delete journal entries.
  • We are also releasing an API to retrieve a list of engagements for a specific client.
General enhancements
  • New Journal Entries
    :
    • Added a Back button near the top of the Edit Journal Entry screen, enabling quick navigation back to the Journal Entry list.
    • The account dropdown now displays all accounts, includes a loading indicator during searches, and no longer defaults to the previously searched account when adding a new row.
    • Resolved an issue causing errors during repeated account searches in the distribution grid.
    • Restricted free text input for required dropdowns: Type, Misstatement and Roll forward, which was causing the trial balance to not update and display properly.
  • Workpapers:
    • Restored functionality to modify Divisions checkbox selections when creating a report after initial attempt.
    • Ensured list view column options are retained after editing.
    • Corrected an issue where the 'Checked out' status persisted for previously edited and saved PDF files within EM.
  • Trial Balance:
    In case of a leap year, the setup will automatically adjust the year-end date to February 29 when rolling forward an engagement dated February 28th in a non- leap year, while maintaining manually set dates and original engagement dates for non-leap years.
General functionality and performance upgrades
  • Corrected ‘Server error’ messages from appearing when adding user initials from the Manage Users screen and when changing Account grouping code for Non-profit leadsheets.
  • Ensured Roll forward successfully completes when deselecting Tax vendor information at the firm level.
  • Updated the Competitive Conversions Utility link (25.7) to improve support for Caseware Connector formulas.
