Assign grouping codes and subcodes within a trial balance in Engagement Manager
Trial Balance
Assign grouping codes and subcodes within a trial balance in Engagement Manager
Follow these steps to assign account grouping codes and subcodes to 1 account in the trial balance for an engagement.
In Engagement Manager, open the engagement and select the
Trial Balance
tab.
Double-click the cell in the
Account Classification
column or
Account Classification Subcode
column for the account you want to assign.
You can customize the trial balance view to add a column that shows the account grouping information you need.
Use the dropdown to select the account grouping code and subcode.
tip
You can use the filter to narrow the list.
Assign multiple accounts to the same code and subcode
Open the engagement and select the
Trial Balance
tab.
Select multiple account rows, then right-click one of the highlighted rows.
Select
Assign account grouping code
.
In the Assign account grouping code window, use the dropdown to select the account grouping.
Select the code and subcode, then select
OK
.
