Upload Documents Service setup — Configure the Upload Server component for GoFileRoom

This is the 2nd of 3 stages in the process to set up the Upload Documents Service.
important
Make sure that you're running Windows using a domain administrator account.
  1. In Windows Explorer, go to
    C:\Program Files (x86)\GoFileRoom\GFRUploadDocuments
    .
  2. Right-click the
    GfrUploadDocsConfigurator.exe
     file and select
    Run as administrator
    .
  3. Select
    Yes
     to let the application make changes to your computer.
  4. Enter the user ID and password for the firm's GoFileRoom upload account, then select
    Save
    .

    If you don’t know your firm's upload credentials, contact GoFileRoom Support.
  5. Enter
    Services
     in the Windows
    Search
     box, then select the
    Services
     application.
  6. Right-click
    GoFileRoom Upload Documents
     then select
    Properties
     from the context menu.
  7. On the
    General
     tab, verify that you've selected
    Automatic
     as the
    Startup type
    .
  8. On the
    Log on
     tab, select
    This account
    .
  9. Specify a domain administrator account in
    This account
    , then enter and verify the password.
  10. On the
    Recovery
     tab, select
    Restart the Service
     from the dropdown list for 3 failure fields.
  11. Select
    OK
    .
  12. Right-click the GoFileRoom
    Upload Documents Service
     in the Services list, then select either
    Start
     or
    Restart
     from the context menu.
Next, complete the last stage of the process to configure the upload locations.
