Migrate client data from Accounts Production to Accounts Production Advanced

There are two stages to migrate client data from Accounts Production to Accounts Production Advanced: first export the data from Accounts Production, then Import the data into Accounts Production Advanced.
  1. Stage one: export data from Accounts Production
  2. Open Accounts Production.
  3. Close any clients that are open.
  4. Select
    Tools
    , then
    Export Data
    .
  5. Mark the checkbox for the client whose data you want to migrate.
  6. Select a location where you want to export the client's data, then select
    OK
    .
  7. Select
    Export
    .
  8. Stage two: import the client data into Accounts Production Advanced
  9. Open Accounts Production Advanced.
  10. Select
    File
    , then
    Import
    .
    Accounts Production Advanced opens the
    Data Import wizard
    .
  11. Select
    Digita Accounts Production (JSON)
     as the source, then
    Next
    .
  12. Select the
    Select source data folder
     ellipsis button to find the client data you exported from Accounts Production, then select
    OK
    .
  13. Select
    Next
    .
  14. Mark the checkbox next to the client to import.
  15. Select
    Next
    .
  16. Select the
    Templates
     ellipsis button, the template that the client data will be based on, then
    OK
    .
  17. In the Accounts section, select
    Use Digita/JSON accounts
    .
    You will get the following message: "The selected template contains account codes and the 'Use Digita/ / JSON accounts' option is currently selected. This will cause template account codes to be mixed together with Digita / JSON codes from the import. Select the 'Map Digita / JSON accounts to Digita accounts' option?"

You will find the imported data in the client list of Accounts Production Advanced.
