Resolve a cashflow rounding issue in Accounts Production Advanced
To resolve out of balances in Accounts Production Advanced you can add rows to the Additional Cash Flow Adjustments table in the
Disclosure
tab, then add these rows to the Accounts Report.- Open the client in Accounts Production Advanced.
- Select theDisclosurestab.
- UnderFinancial Statements, selectStatement of Cash Flows.
- SelectNew.tipYou may need to scroll down in theStatement of Cash Flowswindow to reveal theNewbutton.
- Select the new row you've added to the Additional cash flow adjustments table, then enter aDescriptionthat clearly identifies what it relates to.
- In the same new row, enter the amount in theCurrent periodand/orPrior periodcolumns that the cash flow needs to be adjusted by.
- SelectOKto close the window and return to theDisclosurestab.
- Select theReportstab and run a set of accounts inDesignmode.
- Go to the part of the report where you need to add the additional cash flow adjustment item, then double-click the table to open up theDesign Smart Tablewindow.
- Double-click on the text of row that you need to edit.
- In theEdit Sectionwindow, double-click on the row shown in the Section contents pane.

- In the Edit Subsection window, select theFinancial Period Datatab.
- Expand theDisclosure,Financial Statements,Cash flow and Cash and Cash Equivalents,Cash flow – company,Additional Cash Flow adjustments, and theRowsfolders.This will show the row you added to the Additional cash flow adjustments table.

- In the Rows folder, select the Additional cash flow adjustment row that you added previously, then selectAdd.The item is shown in the Subsection contents pane.
- SelectOK, thenOKagain to return to the accounts report inDesignmode.
- Close the report.
- Re-open the report inPreviewmode to check the changes to the accounts.
