Schema ref error for FRS 102 created in Accounts Production Advanced and filed with Company Secretarial
Scenario
After preparing FRS 102 accounts in Accounts Production Advanced you try to file them with Company Secretarial, but get a Schema ref error message.
Solution
- In Accounts Production Advanced, select theSummarytab.
- Under the Client Details heading, select theGenerallink.
- In the Financial statements to be filed with section, make sure thatCompanies Houseis selected.noteIf you do not seeCompanies Houseas an option, contact Customer Support and ask to be moved onto the latest version of FRS 102, which will include this option.
- SelectOK.
- Export and and re-file the accounts with Company Secretarial.
- Return to Accounts Production Advanced and open the report you are trying to file.
- Select theReport Structuretab.
- If the folder at the top is in bold formatting, right-click it, then selectRevert to Template. If you cannot selectRevert to Template, sign off and sign in again as Administrator and try steps 6 to 9 again.
- If the folder at the top is not in bold, it may be because it's in your Master client, in which case it would affect all FRS 102 clients. If this is the case, take the following steps:
- Select the Template Entities tab to open your FRS 102 Master client.
- EnterDoNotDelectif you're asked to enter a password.
- Open a report, such as FRS 102 Micro Entities.
- Select theReport Structuretab.
- If the top folder is in bold, right-click it and selectRevert to Template.
- Repeat stepsctoefor the FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 102 Financial Statements reports.
