Add a Standard Table using the Additional Disclosures
You can use Additional Disclosures to create a Standard Table, which you can then add to a note in your report. The Standard Table available in Additional disclosures is used when you need to show the current period and up to 4 prior period values.
- Use Additional Disclosures to create a new Standard Table
- Select theAdditional Disclosuretab
- SelectItem1.
- Select theStandard Tabletab.
- SelectNew.A new row is added to the table.
- In the new row, selectNewRowunderDescriptionand enter your description.
- Enter the balances for the required periods.
- SelectOK.
- Add the Standard Table Additional Disclosure to an existing note in the report
- Open the report inDesignmode.
- In theReport Structureselect the Note that you want to add to.
- Right-click on this note, then selectInsert Newfrom the context menu.
- In the Select a template pane, go toTemplates,UK_EU Style Elements, thenTables.
- SelectBalance sheet, thenOK.Example
- Find your newly createdBalance sheetelement in the Report Structure, right-click it and selectViewfrom the context menu.This shows the table for the Balance sheet element in the report.
- Double-click on the table in the report to open theDesign Smart Tablewindow.tipIf the comparative column heading has the wrong date, you can follow the steps in our help topic: Error: 2013 period is wrong in a report in Accounts Production Advanced.
- Point your cursor over the table, then double-click on the blue dotted line that appears around the row.
- In theEdit Sectionwindow, select theFinancial Period Datatab.
- Select theAdditional Disclosures,Additional Disclosures 1 - 10,Item 1, thenStandard Tablefolders.
- Within theStandard Tablefolder, selectCompany, thenAdd.Example

- In the Section contents pane, right-click on theCompanythat you've added, and selectBreakdown,Rows, thenOKfrom the context menu.
- Mark theShow section breakdownandShow section totalcheckboxes.
- SelectOKon all windows save your changes update the accounts.
