Set rounding to less than 1 on a table inserted from Additional Disclosures

Set rounding to less than 1 on a table inserted from Additional Disclosures
Step 1 — Set the rounding on the table
View the table.
Select
Design
to open Design view.
Double-click on the table to open the
Design Smart Table
window.
Select
TableOptions
.
In the Table Options window, on the
Options
tab, select the ellipsis button next the
Rounding
box.
In the
Options
expression box, replace
Rounding
with the format for figures that you want, followed by the letter
m
.
note
For example, enter
0.0001m
to round figures to 4 decimal places.
Leave
Scaling
entered in the
Scaling
box.
Leave
Table wrapping direction
blank.
Select
OK
to save your changes.
Step 2 — Set the rounding on the individual cell
Return to viewing the table in the
Design Smart Table
window.
Right-click over the amount that needs the rounding changed and select
Form
, then
Cell
from the context menu.
In the
Cell Properties
window, select the
Number
tab.
Change the value in the
Format
box as needed. For example, 0.0000.
Select
OK
, then
OK
again to return to the report.
Select
Preview
, then
Full report
.
The values will now display as required.
