Error: You do not have suitable service registered to share clients in Company Secretarial

Scenario

You may get the following error message when you link data from Practice Management to Company Secretarial.
Error message
You do not have suitable service registered to share clients with.
Check you have installed a client data service, and it is correctly registered as your master synchronization service in Integration Options from the Tools menu.

Solution

  1. Select
    Tools
    ,
    Integration
    , then
    Options
    .
  2. Select the
    Synchronization
     tab.
  3. Check that the Application and Service lists include all of the following entries.
    Synchronization Masters
    Application
    Service
    Digita Contact Manager
    Client Data
    Digita Accounts Production
    Accounting Data
    Digita Contact Manager
    Tracker
  4. If you don't have all of the entries in the table, carry out steps 5 to 11. If you do have all of the entries in the table, contact Customer Support for assistance.
  5. Mark the
    Override synchronization maste
    r checkbox.
  6. Select
    New
    .
  7. For the
    Entity Data
     Service, select
    Digita Contact Manager
    .
  8. Select
    OK
    .
  9. Select
    New
     again.
  10. For the
    Accounts Data
     Service, select the Provider that reflects your Digita configuration. For example,
    Digita Accounts Production Advanced (Default)
    .
    tip
    If you're unsure which Provider to choose, select one and check whether it resolves the error. If not, try again with another Provider.
  11. Select
    OK
    .
