Log files to resolve technical issues

Log files record events that have taken place within Digita Company Secretarial. You can give the information in log files to IT staff to help them resolve technical problems.
You can usually find the log files at this default location:
C:\Documents And Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Digita\Digita Company Secretarial\Log.xml

If you don't find the log files there, then their location will depend on where the person who installed Digita Company Secretarial mapped the Digita directories.

Larger log files will impact the performance of Digita Company Secretarial. We recommend that the log file doesn't exceed 500 KB. To avoid having a log file larger than this, archive the current log file and begin a new one.

  1. Close Digita Company Secretarial on the local machine.
  2. Rename or move the current log file to another location.
