Show that a company ceased to trade in Corporation Tax Advanced

In Corporation Tax Advanced there's no specific cell where you can enter the date of cessation. You can, however, show a cessation date if you change the
Accounting Period
 end date to match the cessation date. 
  1. Close the computation and return to the
    Client Summary
     screen.
  2. Select
    Company
    , then
    Accounting Periods
    .
  3. Select
    Edit
     and change the end date as necessary.
  4. Open the accounting period.
  5. Go to the
    A3 Schedule [Losses and Allowances Schedule]
    , near row 63.
  6. Enter
    Losses extinguished on cessation
    .
  7. The other two locations are in Pools.
  8. Open the
    Plant Pool
     or the
    Special Rate Assets Pool
    .
  9. Go to the
    Cessation? Enter YES for balancing (allowances)/charges
     flag and select
    Yes
     from the dropdown list.
