Set up online filing in Corporation Tax

Online Filing will be greyed out and unavailable unless you are logged in as a user with Online Filing credentials.
To
enable
Online Filing you need to ensure that you have registered with the
Government Gateway
to obtain a User ID and Password.  Once you have done this you can set up Online Filing in Corporation Tax as follows:
  1. Log into Digita Corporation and Deferred Tax either as the
    Administrator
    or as another user who has administrator rights.
  2. Go to menu option
    Tools | User Management
    .
  3. Highlight the user requiring access to Online Filing and select
    Edit
    .
  4. Tick the
    Allow Online Filing
     checkbox.
  5. Enter the Government Gateway User ID and Password.
  6. Log out of Digita Corporation and Deferred Tax and then log in as the user which was set up for Online Filing (above).

Submit CT600 in Digita Corporation Tax

To
submit
online you will need to:
  1. Ensure that all schedules have been marked as complete
    (Reports | Lock Tax Computation | Tax Computation completed)
    .
  2. Save a PDF/iXBRL (as appropriate) copy of the companies accounts for the period.
  3. Go to menu option
    Tools | Online Filing
    .
  4. Tick the check boxes at the top of the dialog as appropriate.
  5. Digita Corporation and Deferred Tax will assume that you want to submit the system tax computation and will automatically attach it.  If you wish to attach an alternative computation you will need to save a copy of it as a PDF and select it using the
    Attach Computation
     button.  Browse to the PDF file and select
    Open
    .
  6. Select
    Attach Accounts
     and browse to the copy of the company accounts.
  7. Select
    Validate and Submit
    .
