The manner in which you assign the Digita FileCabinet drawer status indicators (Active, Inactive, and Defunct) is determined by your firm's guidelines. When you apply different statuses to drawers, you can focus the drawers list in the Folders window by status. You can also focus lists of drawers by status in dialogs that include drawer lists, such as the Backup and Copy Drawers dialogs.
In Digita FileCabinet, all drawers are initially assigned the Active status, but you can change the status of any drawer to Inactive or Defunct. Follow these procedures to change the drawer status for individual or multiple drawers.
