Backing up system settings

  1. From the File menu, choose Backup.
  2. Select System Settings from the field in the upper-left corner of the Backup dialog.
  3. Highlight the item you want to back up.
  4. Select the Select button to move the selected system setting to the Settings to back up pane on the right.
  5. Verify that the
    Backup location
     field shows the location to which you want to back up your system settings. (To change this location, click the Modify Backup Location button, navigate to the appropriate location, and click OK.)
    note
    If you're running Digita FileCabinet in the Digita Virtual Office environment, you can navigate to files on your local network.
  6. Select the Backup button.

The Focus section is unavailable (grayed) when you back up system settings.
