Use this dialog to specify system defaults for the system-generated email text that is inserted into all emails created from within Digita FileCabinet.
To open this tab, choose Setup > System Configuration and clicking the Email Text tab.
Fields & buttons
Email text when password option is not selected
Displays the default introductory text for non-password protected PDF files that are sent to e-mail.
Email text when password option is selected
Displays the default introductory text for password-protected PDF files that are sent to e-mail.
note
You must separately communicate passwords to email recipients.
Modify buttons
Click these buttons to make global changes to the default email text for PDF files sent to email.
note
To modify the email message text for the current user only, click the Send to Email recipient button in the Digita FileCabinet toolbar or choose File > Send To > Email Recipient, and click the Modify/View Email Text button.
Restore Defaults button
Click this button to revert to the original Digita FileCabinet default email text for both password-protected and non-password protected PDF files.
note
If you click this button after choosing File > Send To > Email Recipient and clicking the Modify / View Email Text button, email text is restored to the global default email text, which is entered after choosing Setup > System Configuration, and clicking the Email Text tab.
