Custom Links dialog

Use this dialog to add custom links to URLs or file paths on the Home Page for the current user. Custom links appear in the Custom Links section of the Home Page.
To open this dialog, choose Setup > User Preferences, click the Misc tab, then click the Custom Links button.
Fields & buttons
Custom Link list
Displays the custom links for the current user.
Add button
Click this button to add a custom link to the Home Page.
Edit button
Click this button to edit the custom link that you highlighted in the Custom Link list.
Delete button
Click this button to delete the custom link that you highlighted in the Custom Link list.
Description
In this field, enter the link text that should appear in the Home Page for the current link.
Link to Web URL
Click this option to enter a URL.
Link to File
Click this option to enter the file path for the current link or click the browse button to navigate to a file.

If you're running Digita FileCabinet in the Digita Virtual Office environment, you can navigate to files on your local network.
Icon
This field shows the icon for the website or file you enter in the
Web URL
or File
fields.Refresh icon button
Click this button to refresh the icon for the website or file you entered in the adjacent field.Browse button
Click this button to choose a different website or application icon by navigating to an image file and selecting it.
