Learning about third-party multi-factor authentication apps
The multi-factor authentication (MFA) feature is compatible with many popular Time-based One-time Password (TOTP) multi-factor authentication apps, such as Google Authenticator and Microsoft Authenticator. The third-party authenticator option is intended for those who are already using another company's MFA app to secure their data.
Because these are third-party apps, they
do not provide push notifications
when you sign in to our products. To take advantage of push notifications and the one-touch access they provide, download the Thomson Reuters Authenticator mobile app.Enabling multi-factor authentication with a third-party authenticator app
