Edit the Information Request in Personal Tax

You can create Information Requests tailored for each client based on the entries within the previous year's tax return.
  1. Open an active client with a current tax return.
  2. Go to
    Reports
    , then
    Manage Reports.
  3. In the Folder: Form section, right-click
    Information request (Person) (default)
    and select
    Copy Report to
    , then
    Practice reports
    .
  4. Right-click the renamed
    Copy of Information Request (Person)
    and select
    Edit Report
    from the context menu.
From the Edit Report screen you can rename, edit, preview, add note elements, change font, and edit the spacing of the report or cover letter.
