Submit an amended return not previously sent by Personal Tax

  1. Select

    Finalise Tax Return

  2. Select
    Validate and Submit
    .
    note
    You will get an error message during validation that says the tax return was rejected because a successful submission was already made. The next message will ask if this is an amended return.
  3. Select
    Yes
     to make an amended submission.
  • This process will change the IR Mark, as the return is initially produced as an original. A flag in the underlying XML is changed when the amendment submission is made, which changes the IR Mark.
  • If the original return was submitted on paper, any amendments will also need to be filed on paper.
