Submit an amended return previously submitted with Personal Tax

  1. Amend the appropriate schedule(s) in the correct Tax Year.
  2. Select
    Form,
     then
    Finalise Tax Return
    .
    note
    The
    Amended Tax Return
     checkbox will be marked if the details of the form have changed.
  3. If the Amended Tax Return checkbox is not marked run the return to ensure the amendments are pulling through to the form.
  4. If Personal, Business and Trust Tax does not recognise that an amendment applies:
    1. Select
      Edit
      , then
      Schedule Editor
      .
    2. Select
      Other Return Information
      .
    3. Select
      Notes
      .
    4. Add a note to explain that the return is amended.

      This should trigger Personal Business and Trust Tax to mark the the
      Amended Tax Return
       checkbox.
