Modifying a Digita NetStaff user’s access to Document Presentation files

To give a Digita NetStaff user access to Document Presentation files or to remove a user's access to Document Presentation files, follow these steps.

You can give Digita NetStaff users access to this module at the group level.
  1. In the Admin tab of the navigation pane, click the
    Users
    link in the Digita NetStaff section.

    If you don't see this link, you don't have access to this area.
  2. In the Users list, enter any part of the user's name or login in the
    Find
    field, and click the user's name. Digita NetFirm displays the user's information on the right.
    tip
    Delete the entry from the
    Find
    field to view the full list of users.
  3. In the Permissions section, click the Enable button for Document Presentation.
    Digita NetFirm lists all of the drawers that were designated as contributors to Digita NetClient the last time your firm placed a call to Digita Connect.
  4. The remaining steps vary depending on what you want to do.
    Give the user access to Document Presentation files in all drawers
    1. Click the All Drawers button, and then click Enter.

    If the Digita NetStaff user has access to Document Presentation drawers through group permissions, the row for that drawer is grayed.
    Modify the user's access to Document Presentation drawers
    1. Under the Access Permissions heading, click the Selected button.
    2. Mark the checkboxes for the drawers that contain Document Presentation files that the user needs to access, and clear the checkboxes for drawers that contain files that the user no longer needs to access.
      note
      • If the Digita NetStaff user has access to Document Presentation drawers through group permissions, the rows for those drawers are unavailable. To remove the user's access to these drawers, you must remove the user from the group or remove the group's access to the drawers.
      • In the
        Find
        field, enter any part of a drawer name or drawer ID to locate a drawer.
      • Under the Filter Options heading, click the Unselected button to view only the drawers in which the user cannot access files. Click the Selected button to view only the drawers in which the user can access files.
    3. Click Enter.
