Retirement of Support for Microsoft applications — Support Bulletin 19/07/2023
Microsoft is ending Extended Support for the following products:
Application | End of Life |
|---|---|
Windows 8 | Now Retired |
Windows 8.1 | Now Retired |
Windows Server 2012 | 10th October 2023 |
Windows Server 2012 R2 | 10th October 2023 |
End of Life status means that Microsoft will no longer issue security updates for that software leaving your applications and data potentially vulnerable.
You'll still be able to install and run the current Digita Suite on these End of Life applications, however you may not be able to install and run future releases on them. We won't investigate or rectify problems caused by running Digita applications on a Microsoft application after its End of Life date. If you're currently using any of these Windows versions, we recommend upgrading them.
