Digita Suite error: submission of this document has failed due to departmental specific business logic in the Body tag. Inconsistent duplicate fact values (core:Equity).

This error is usually due to the Statement of changes in equity being out of balance in the accounts report. Check the closing prior period equity and reserves balances match the opening current period balances on the report.
To correct this we recommend to:
  1. Post a small journal to code 980.00 - "P&l reserve - retained profit and loss account b/fwd".
  2. Post the other side of the journal to P&L code.
  3. Once the balances have been corrected re-export the iXBRL accounts, then attach the new accounts for the CT600.
  4. Reattempt the submission to HMRC.

Share Capital

This issue can also occur when the Share Capital has not been brought forward correctly.
This issue occurs when there are new share issues in the accounting period. For example, in the Trial Balance extract a posting has been done to code 911.00 in the Prior Period when this rolls forward it should go to 910.00 but the Opening Balance assignment isn't yet set up to do that.
  1. You will need to create a new journal in the Journals tab of the client and transfer the balance from code 911.00 to code 910.00.
  2. Likewise if you have posted to 911.01 in the prior period it will need to go to 910.01 in the current period, 911.02 in the prior needs to go to 911.02 in the current etc.
  3. Once all the opening balances in the current period match the closing balances in the prior period then you can re-export and re-file the accounts.
