The Quick Links panel allows you to display a collection of configurable buttons on a Custom Page dashboard, each linking to a frequently used internal or external resource.
This panel helps users quickly access matter-relevant tools, websites, or documents without navigating away from the site or searching elsewhere.
To add a
Quick Links
panel, click on Quick Links.
The Quick Links panel edit modal opens:
Panel title
– Enter the title of the panel. Alternatively, you can hide the title by selecting the ‘Hide title’ checkbox.
Column Layout
– Define the number of columns you want the panel to display. More columns result in narrower buttons; fewer columns provide wider buttons that can better accommodate longer labels.
The panel displays the same number of columns on the dashboard as configured in the edit modal. If longer button labels are required, consider reducing the number of columns or placing the panel in a full-width section.
Buttons
- Use the left-hand column of the edit modal to add/edit buttons.
Use
+ Add Button
to add new buttons.
Reorder using the drag handle

option or use the up and down

options.
Remove existing ones by using the
Delete
option.
Selecting a button in the list displays its individual configuration options on the right-hand side of the modal. Each button has the following settings:
Button label
- Enter the display name for the button as it will appear on the dashboard (e.g., Reuters Legal headlines).
URL
- This is a mandatory field. Enter the destination URL that the button should link to.
Open link in new window
- Select this checkbox if you want the link to open in a new browser window or tab. Leave it unchecked to open the link in the current window.
Icon
- This is an optional field. You can upload a PNG or JPG icon to display alongside the button label.
The maximum file size allowed is 5MB. Uploaded images will be automatically resized (max 20x20px) to fit within the button.
Button Preview
- A live preview of the configured button appears in the modal, allowing you to see how it will appear to end users before saving.
Repeat this process to add as many buttons as required.
After configuring the buttons and layout, select
Save
within the edit modal to apply the changes to the panel.
The panel is then displayed on your dashboard, with all configured buttons provided according to the selected column layout.
