Embed RSS feeds with the rich text editor

External RSS feeds can be embedded using the rich text editor. Detailed instructions to embed content can be found in Embedding site content with Lists.
To access the
RSS
 type, navigate to
List
 and select the type of
RSS
 within the
Insert list
 screen:
  • Enter the
    Feed URL
     of the RSS feed. This can be obtained in different ways, depending on the source
  • Optionally, enter a
    Title
     for the RSS feed. Alternatively, if the RSS feed itself contains a title, select the check box next to
    Use feed title
  • Select the number of items to show. The default is set to
    All
  • Optionally, display any metadata
Select
Insert
 to insert the RSS feed.
The configuration of the RSS feed will be shown as a yellow area in the edit mode of the rich-text editor.
