Configuring the Legal Tracker template
The target audience of this document is matter managers who can manage templates.
Once the iSheet has been configured, you'll need to configure the template.
In your site, select
Manage templates
from the Site
dropdown list.On the
Manage templates
screen, select the Tracker integrated matter intake (TMI)
template to view it.note
Within this template, the iSheet that was configured is already linked. This means that any changes committed there are reflected here.
Once you have selected the template, select
Admin
.On the
Admin
screen, you can configure your template. Below is an example that shows how to set up permissions for your users, groups, columns, etc.Use case example
For this example, on the
Users
screen, we've created 3 users: - Approver user.
- Requester 1 User.
- Requester 2 User.
On the
Groups
screen, we've added 2 new groups:- AnApprovers/Reviewersgroup. The Description for this group is: 'Group for legal department users who are approvers/reviewers'. TheTypecoloum for this group shows it's a Site Group theNo. of Userscolumn shows it has a membership of 1 user (our Approver user).
- ALegal Department (All)group. The Description for this group is: 'Group for legal department users'. TheTypecoloum for this group shows it's a Site Group theNo. of Userscolumn shows it has a membership of 2 users (Requester 1 and Requester 2).
We've added another new group called
Legal Department (All)
.On the
Edit iSheet permissions
screen for Matter intake
, we've used the checkboxes to assign the following permissions to our new groups:- Approvers/Reviewers:
- View:Own,This group,All.
- Edit:Own,This group,All.
- Legal Department (All):
- View:Own.
- Edit:Own.
The means that members of the
Legal Department (All)
group can only view and edit their own records, whereas members of the Approvers/Reviewers
group, can view and edit all records. If needed, you can manage which groups have access to particular columns:
- Go toAdmin,Module settings, theniSheets.
- SelectMore actions, thenManage columns.
On the
Manage columns
screen, go to the column where you want to add permissions. Select More actions
, then Edit permissions
.On the
Edit column permissions
screen, use the Permissions checkboxes to alter the groups' permissions for this column, then select Save
. Your permissions are saved and the template is configured.
You now need to configure the workflow. Refer to the
Configuring the Legal Tracker workflow
article for more information on how to configure the workflow.note
The HighQ Site for legal intake should be configured using the TIMI template. Once the site is created using the TIMI template as the starting point, the workflow action must be configured which sends the Intake request from HighQ to Tracker.
Navigate to
Site Admin
> Rule Builder
under the Workflow
menu in the left-hand navigation.Select the
Legal Tracker workflow
and use the 'More actions' menu to edit the workflow and add a new rule.
