Search and filter records in Maps

The Map component provides a geographic view of your data on an interactive world map. Countries that contain relevant records are highlighted for easy identification. Use the region selector and available filters to narrow down the dataset (for example, by region, site, or category), and use the zoom controls to explore specific locations in more detail.

Search and Filter Records

Start filtering by selecting the appropriate map component using navigation arrows (
< >
) or from the dropdown above the map (available only when multiple maps are configured).
Filter Options
Use the filter controls to refine the data displayed on the map and in the table.
Select a filter value from the dropdown (for example,
Any
) to narrow down the dataset based on the available criteria. The map then updates dynamically to highlight only the countries that match the selected filter. The table below the map also updates to display only the corresponding records.
This allows you to focus on a specific subset of data without changing the overall view. To refine your search further, you can apply multiple search filters.
Use the search box to quickly find specific records. Enter a keyword in the
Search
field to locate matching items (for example, case name, claimant, or description). The results are filtered in real time, updating both:
  • the map view (highlighted regions), and
  • the table view (displayed records).
This helps you quickly locate relevant data without manually browsing through all records.
After entering your first search, press
Enter
or the plus icon to add it to the list. You can then add additional filters for all columns or for specific columns using the column picker.
If you want to reuse a particular search, save it using the
Save
option in the top right corner. It is recommended to provide a logical and meaningful name for your saved search to make it easier to locate later.
To access saved filters, click the search icon to the right of the search box.
tip
Applying both the filter and search options limits the data to only records that match all selected criteria and search terms. This is particularly helpful when working with large datasets and requiring precise results.
To remove a search, click the cross icon to delete a single filter, or use the
Clear
option to remove all search filters at once.

Pagination Control

Use the
Pages
dropdown to navigate between result pages, or use the navigation arrows (
< >
) to move between pages.
The dropdown displays the available page numbers (for example, 1-5) and indicates the current page selection.
