When the
Tasks
or
Q&A
module is enabled for a site, additional options are displayed for every file in the
Files
module.
note
These options are available only if you can access the
Tasks
or
Q&A
module.
Add task
If the
Tasks
module is enabled, the
More actions
menu for a file includes the
Add task
option.
Similarly, the
Add new task
option is displayed in the
Add file
and
Edit file
screens. These options permit you to create a new task and associate the selected file with a task.
Tasks created from the
Tasks
module or the
Files
module are identical in every other way.
note
Tasks associated with files are displayed in file details until marked 'complete'.
Ask question
If the
Q&A
module is enabled, the
Ask Question
option is available for every folder and file on that site.
Select
Ask Question
to display the
Ask question
dialogue, which is discussed in more detail in
Q&A ask and answer questions
. Questions raised from the
Q&A
module or from the
Files
module are identical in every other way.
