Agent authorisation page

Monitor MTD client authorisation status, filter by progress, and search client records to track requests and identify actions needed.

Overview

A dedicated area to monitor the authorisation status of your MTD clients. You can filter clients by status or search for specific clients.

Status filters

Use the filter tabs to narrow down your client list:
  • All
    : Shows every client record.
  • Not started
: The authorisation process hasn’t yet been initiated for these clients.
  • Pending
: An authorisation request has been sent and is awaiting the client's response.
  • Cancelled
: The authorisation request was cancelled before completion.
  • Rejected
: The client declined the authorisation request.
  • Expired
: The authorisation request was not acted on in time. It expires after 21 days. If this happens, you must resend the request.
  • Authorised
: Authorisation is fully in place, and you can act on behalf of these clients.

Client table

Each row shows:
  • Client
    : The client's name.
  • Client code
: The unique identifier for the client.
  • Initiation date (in all tabs apart from Not started)
: The date the authorisation request was sent.
  • Agent Type
: You can act as the client's main agent. This role gives you full access to all MTD services. You can also act as the client's supporting agent. This role lets you submit quarterly updates only.
  • Status
    : The current authorisation status.
  • Cancellation date (Cancelled only)
: The date the authorisation request was cancelled.
  • Rejection date (Rejected only)
: The date the authorisation request was rejected.
  • Link expiration date (Expired only)
: The date the authorisation request link expired.
  • Authorisation date (Authorised only)
: The date the authorisation request was accepted.
  • Email
: the client's email address, which is used as part of the authorisation process.

Work with columns

  • Select a column header once to sort the rows in ascending order (for example, A–Z or oldest to newest).
  • Select the same column header again to switch to descending order.
  • Hold Ctrl and select a column header to clear the sort and return the grid to its default order.
  • This only changes your view. It doesn’t affect data for other users. Your configuration is saved for the next time you visit the agent authorisation page.

Pagination

When there are more clients than fit on 1 page, use the controls at the bottom of the grid.
  • Previous/Next
: Move to the previous or next page of clients.
  • Go to page
: Enter a page number and select Go to jump straight to that page.
  • Items per page
: Select how many clients to show on each page (for example, 25, 50 or 100).
  • The text beside it shows which clients you are viewing. For example, it may say: Showing 1 to 25 of 250. It also shows the total number of clients available.
