Apply mapping changes

Applying mapping changes is an easy alternative to importing data, especially when just a few updates are needed. You cannot apply the mapping if there is a read-only calculation in the dataset.
To apply mapping changes to existing trial balance data:
  1. On the main menu bar, select
    Configuration
    , then
    Mappings
    .
  2. In the grid, select the Apply icon for the row that includes the map you want to apply changes to.
  3. A message prompts you to confirm you want to save and apply the mapping rules to all the data imported with the map.
  4. Select
    OK
     to continue. This process can take several minutes. If you want to return to the grid without making changes, select
    CANCEL
    .
  5. Mapping changes are saved before being applied. The value in the
    Applied
     column changes to
    Yes
    , and
    Date Last Applied
     is updated. If the
    Date Last Applied
     column is not displayed in the grid, select
    Show/Hide Columns
     then select the check box for
    Date Last Applied
    .
