Edit entity maps

Edit Entities
on the Mappings screen is used when you have more than one map in your dataset and you want to assign a different map to each entity. If a dataset contains only one map, the map is automatically assigned to all entities in the dataset.
If a dataset contains only one map, the map is automatically assigned to all entities in the dataset. However, when you have multiple maps in your dataset, you can assign a different map to each entity.
note
If you want to change a map assigned to the entity and the map has already been used to import data to that entity in the dataset, you must delete the trial balance journals containing the imported data before changing the map assigned to the entity.
