Review the NextGen map

Review the mappings after import.
  • Map all accounts to the lowest level of the mapping tax account. Some tax accounts include only a header account. Others have sub-tax accounts.
  • For example, the tax account
    Interest expense – domestic – other
     has sub-tax targets
    Deductible
     and
    Non-deductible
    . In this case, map any GL accounts to either
    Deductible
     or
    Non-deductible
     as the lowest level of tax accounts. Don't map them to
    Interest expense – domestic – other
    .
  • You can manually change mappings for any accounts if needed.
