Install updates manually

If you're unable to install our content updates via

, then
Check for updates
, follow these instructions to install them manually. We recommend you apply the updates in sequential order.
  2. Once downloaded, extract the ZIP folder.
  3. Place all the files in the AppData directory. By default, this is C:\ProgramData\Thomson Reuters\Abacus\ selecting to replace any files which already exist in that location.
  4. If the ProgramData folder isn't visible in your C:\ drive, turn it on in the
    View
     tab.
