Enter trade return information directly in the trade

Enter trade return details by expanding the trade section, entering income and expenses, classifying amounts, then sorting the sheet.
If you only have a few transactions to enter, you can enter trade income and expenses directly in the trade.
  1. Select the plus sign
    +
next to the trade to expand it.
  2. Select the plus sign
    +
    next to the
    Trading and professional income
    section to expand it.
  3. Select the
    Adjustment of profit
    sheet.
  4. Enter the required rows for the income and expenditure of the trade, adding a description, amount, and classification.
  5. Enter the accounts amount as a positive number.
  6. Enter the disallowable/nontaxable amounts as either a positive or negative number depending on the prompt in the column heading.
  7. If there's more than 1 row on the tax return, you'll be prompted to sort the sheet. You can do this 1 of 2 ways:
    • Select another sheet or save the computation. The application will sort the sheet automatically.
    • Select
      Tools
      Group/sort
. This will sort the amounts into their respective categories and roll up the amounts into a total for that category.
