Two-step verification setup

Before you start

This is the new verification process to replace multi-factor authentication (MFA)
Decide which two-factor authentication option to choose.
To use the Auth0 Guardian app or another authenticator app, complete the account setup steps on a computer or tablet so you can scan the pairing code with your device.

Set up two-factor authentication

Go to your Thomson Reuters Account and sign-in with your Onvio credentials.

Add the two-factor authentication option you want to use:
Auth0 Guardian app
Install the Auth0 Guardian two-factor authentication app on your Apple or Android device.
Select
Add the app
in the Manage two-factor authentication screen of your Thomson Reuters Account.
Open the Guardian app on your device.
Scan the QR Code with the Guardian app using your device's camera. Your account is now paired to your device.

Open your authenticator app on your device.
Open the screen to add a new two-factor authentication connection in the app.
Note:
If you're not sure how to do this, the option to scan a new QR Code may look like a plus sign.
Scan the QR Code with the authenticator app using your device's camera. Your account is now paired to your device.

Plug your key into your device.
Select
Add key

Enter a name for your key, then select
Continue
.
Text message
Select
Add mobile

Choose your
country code

Enter your phone number and select
Text Code
to continue. You'll get a text with a code to pair your device to your account.
Enter the code in the
Verify Code
field, then select
Verify
. Your account is now paired to your device.
Note:
If the code times-out, select
Resend Code
to try again.
Phone call
Select
Add phone
.
Choose your
country code
.
Enter your phone number and select
Call
to continue. You'll get a phone call with a code to pair your device to your account.
Enter the code in the
Verify Code
field and select
Verify
. Your account is now paired to your device.
Note:
If you miss the code, select
Call again
to try again.
Repeat the steps above to add more than one option.

Change verification options

Go to your Thomson Reuters Account and sign-in with your Onvio credentials.
Select
Manage verification
. Your active two-factor authentication options are listed in the Current selections section.
To delete an option, select
Turn off verification
, then confirm the deletion.
To add another option, follow Step 3 in the previous section.
