Filter documents

Create filters to control the information that is displayed on the Client, Firm, and MyDocuments screens in Onvio Documents. You can filter for specific items in the Documents area, and/or to clear all existing filters.
  1. On the Client, Firm, or MyDocuments tab in Onvio Documents, click the Show/Hide Filters button to toggle on the filters.
  2. Click a Filter button in the header of one of the columns to open the Filter panel.
  3. You can filter items in the grid using one of the following methods.
    • Ascending/Descending order
    • Filter by Value
    • Filter by Condition
  4. If you choose to Filter by Value, you can use enter a value in the Search field or tickmark the appropriate checkboxes for items in the grid.

  • The Hide/Show filters button does not appear at the Storage level.
  • When you click the Hide/Show button to display the filter buttons in the header row of each column, the button appears orange. When the filters are hidden, the button appears white.
  • When filtering is turned on, you can click a filter button in the header row of a column to sort in Ascending or Descending order and/or by Condition or Value.
