Request templates

You can create request templates to apply to frequently used file requests. Then you don't have to enter the request description each time you send a request email message.

Before you start

  • Make sure you're assigned to a permission group that has
    Request Templates Administration
    enabled.
  • Request templates are global across your firm. Staff with
    Request Templates Administration
    enabled can edit and use request templates.

Add a request template

  1. In Onvio Centre, select
    Setup
    , then
    Request Templates
    .
  2. Select
    Add
    .
  3. Enter a
    Template Name
    and
    Document Request
    .
    note
    You can add multiple request template descriptions in a single email request. Select Add under the previous Document Request to add additional text fields.
  4. Select
    Add
    .

Send a request using a template

You can send a request email message from within the Documents area to anyone, even if they don't have access to Onvio. You can add new request templates here, but you cannot edit the existing templates when creating a request email.

Edit a request template

  1. In Onvio Centre, select
    Setup
    , then
    Request Templates
    .
  2. Choose the request template, then select
    Edit
  3. Make changes and select
    Save
    .

Delete a request template

  1. In Onvio Centre, select
    Setup
    , then
    Request Templates
    .
  2. Choose the request template, then select
    Delete
    .
  3. Select
    Delete
    to confirm.
