You can migrate client data from Digita Practice Management to Onvio. After migration, when you save a change to the client record in Digita Practice Management, it will also be saved to the matching record in Onvio.
Before you start
Make sure you're using at least Digita Practice Management v.20 (Build 3688).
In Digita Practice Management, select
File
, then
Log On As Administrator
.
Check that Onvio Link is installed. Look for the Onvio Link icon in the Windows system tray or enter
Onvio Link
in the Windows search bar.
Enable Onvio Sync in Digita Practice Management.
Check client data quality
In Digita Practice Management, select
Clients.
Select one or more clients. To select multiple clients hold down
Ctrl
until you've made all your selections, or hold down
Shift
to select a range of clients.
Right-click any selected client and select
Data Quality Check
from the context menu.
If no errors are found, select
OK
and follow the steps to
Send checked client data
below.
Double-click each error that you want to resolve, correct the client's details, then select
Save and Close
.
If there are many errors to resolve, you can select
Export this grid to XML spreadsheet
, which will help you to track your progress.
When you've finished correcting the errors, select
Close
.
Run the Data Quality Check on the same client(s) again to check for any remaining errors.
note
Critical
errors will prevent the client from being created/updated in Onvio.
Advisory
errors make the link to Onvio less reliable and could cause problems.
Send checked client data
In Digita Practice Management, right-click the client's name and select
Onvio
, then
Send to Onvio
from the context menu.
If Onvio Link opens, log in using the same credentials you use to log in to Onvio.
Migrating data to Onvio can take 15 minutes or more after the progress window has closed.
