Merge a contact into a client

Contacts can be converted to a client while retaining any information attached to the contact. Once a contact is merged into a client, you can add projects to the client.

Before you start

Make sure you're assigned to a permission group that has Clients enabled.

Convert a contact

  1. In Onvio Centre select Setup, then Clients.
  2. Select Add.
  3. Enter an ID.
  4. Choose
    Select Existing Contact
    .
  5. Choose the Contact that you want to upgrade to a Client.
  6. Select Save. This will pull the Contact's information into the Client.
  7. Make changes and select save. The type of contact will change from standalone to client.
