Create an Interactive Matter Map
You can create a new custom Interactive Matter Map, or customise a copy of an existing map.
- Go toTools, thenInteractive Matter Maps.
- Select theCustom Mapstab,My maps, thenCreate a map.noteAlternatively, open any other map and selectCopy and edit map.
- SelectEdit
next to the title of your map. - Enter aMatter Map Nameand aDescriptionof the matter.
- SelectMy 1st Phase, thenEdit.noteAlternatively, select theMy 1st PhaseMenubutton
, then Edit. To close this menu, select the button again. - Enter aPhase NameandDescription.
- To add resources from Practical Law or a web link to this phase:
- If there's no section yet, selectAdd new section, enter aSection titlee, then selectAdd.
- SelectAddnext to Resources.
- Choose aPractical Law documentorLink, then selectAdd.
- If you want to show tasks in this phase in a different colour, choose aTask colour.
- SelectApply, thenCloseto finish editing the Phase.
- To add a task to a phase, select the phase's Menu button
, then Add task. - Enter details for the task in the same way as you did for a phase.
- To add more phases and tasks, you can also use theAddmenu
.noteYou'll need to enter a minimum of a name and description for each phase and task. - Drag and drop phases and tasks to change their position on the map.tipAlternatively, select a phase or task,Edit, Move, then choose a position from the dropdown lists.
- To change the colour coding of a task, choose a colour from the dropdown list next to the task's title.
- To find content within maps, use theKeyword finder.
- To share a map with others, use a folder shared with others or the delivery options.
