Compare laws from different jurisdictions with Quick Compare

Build and customise charts to compare differences in local laws and share them with others.
  1. Select
    Tools
    , then
    Quick Compare
    .
    note
    From here you can
    Build a New Chart
    , open a saved chart from
    MyCharts
    , or open a ready-made chart from the Editor's Picks.
  2. Select
    Build a New Chart
    .
  3. Choose a
    Practice Area
    .
  4. Choose 1 of the predefined
    Charts
    .
  5. Mark the checkbox for each of the
    Jurisdictions
    you want to include.
  6. Mark the checkbox for each of the
    Columns to Include
    .
  7. Select
    Apply
    .
    Practical Law shows your chart and saves it to
    My Charts
    . By default, the chart shows less detail.
  8. Drag the screen, use the scroll bar, or cursor keys to show more rows and columns.
  9. Select a cell in the chart to show more detail, or use the
    Detail Level menu
    .
  10. Use the
    Delivery menu
    to
    Download
    or
    Print
    your chart.
  11. Select
    Copy link
    to generate a link to your chart that you can share.
  12. Customize
    the current chart by changing your selections for
    Practice Area
    ,
    Charts
    ,
    Jurisdictions
    , and
    Columns to Include
    .
  13. Enter
    Search
    terms to find keywords and phrases within your chart, and select
    Next term
    and
    Previous term
    to view them. 
  14. To make a new chart, select
    Add chart
    .
    Practical Law opens a new tab for you to create your chart.
