Use History to track and resume your research

Find a list of your searches and documents you've viewed to help you resume your research.

If you want to view only the last 5 documents and searches, select the
Recent History Menu
from the toobar, or go to the
UK Home
screen.
  1. Select
    History
    from the toolbar.

    Practical Law shows a list of documents you've viewed and searches you've made during the last 12 months. The search records include the filters you applied and how many results you got in brackets. 
  2. Choose from the filters to narrow the list:
    • Show only
      Documents
      views.
    • Show only
      Searches
      .
    • Show
      All History
      .
    • Show history from today or from a range of dates with the
      Date
      dropdown list.
    • Show research history for a particular client, with
      Client ID
      (if your organisation has set up Client IDs).
    • When you filter for
      All History
      , you can also filter by
      Event
      (for example,
      Document View
      ,
      Search
      , and
      What's Market Analytics
      ).
    • When you filter for
      Documents
      , you can also filter by
      Content Type
      (for example,
      Key Dates
      ,
      Know-how
      , and
      What's Market
      ).
  3. Mark the checkboxes next to documents when using the
    Documents
    filter to
    Download
    ,
    Email
    ,
    Print
    , or
    Save to Folder
    .
