Use Knowledge Map to aid your research
Use Knowledge Map to find related content quickly and speed up your research.
- Open a resource.
- SelectExplore related content, thenExplore the Map!tipAlternatively, selectTools, thenKnowledge Mapfrom the Dynamic Tool Set.
- To move around the map:
- Use your mouse to drag the map to where you want it.
- PressTabto centre the map on different resources.
- Use the zoom controls to focus your attention on an area of the map.
- Select another resource on the map.Practical Law:
- Expands the map to show more resources related to your new selection.
- Updates thePreviewpane to show the contents of your selected resource.
- Adds the resource to the visited list for this map on thePreviewpane.
- Adds the selected resource to yourHistory.
- Saves the map, so that you can restore it by selectingTools,Knowledge Map.
- You can choose delivery options for the selected resource on thePreviewpane.tipTo use document tools such as annotations, you'll need to selectView full documenton thePreviewpane.
- Selectvisitedon thePreviewpane to view a list of the resources you've selected in this Knowledge Map.
- In thevisitedwindow, use the checkboxes if you want to apply delivery options such asDownloadandSave to Folderto multiple resources.
- To restart your map with a new resource at its centre:
- Enter a term in theSearchbar on thePreviewpane.
- Select a resource from your search results.
importantPractical Law only saves your most recent Knowledge Map. To restore the most recent map, go toTools, thenKnowledge Map.
