Back up a Digita product database

You can follow these steps to back up a single product database. If needed, repeat the steps for each product .
  1. Close all Digita applications.
  2. In Windows, go to
    Start
    ,
    All Programs
    ,
    Digita
    ,
    Digita Database Backup
    ,
    Database Backup
    .
    note
    You'll need to do this on the master machine / server, where the databases are held.
  3. Select
    Back up
    .
  4. Select the application that you wish to back up, then select
    Next
    .
    note
    The system will give the backup a description, which will include the date and time of the backup.
  5. Select
    Next
    , then
    Next
     again.
  6. Choose a location to save the database file.
  7. Select
    Next
    , then
    Finish
    .
