Form CT-5.1 print requirements

To print, calculate, or suppress Form CT-5.1, Request for Additional Extension of Time to File.
  1. In Organizer, select
    States
    , then
    State and City Activation
    .
  2. Select
    State and City Activation
    , and go to the row for
    New York
    .
  3. Column D,
    Return Type
     select
    1120
    .
  4. In Organizer, select
    States
    Common State
    Estimates and Extension
    .
  5. Select
    Extension Detail
    , then the
    New York
     tab and enter the
    Explanation
     in the
    Request for Additional Extension of Time to File
     section.
  6. In Organizer,
    States
    Common State
    Estimates and Extension
    .
  7. Select
    Estimate and Extension
    , then go to the row for
    New York
     and select
    Column B
    .
  8. In Organizer, select
    States
    State E-file
    Enable/Create Extensions
    .
  9. Go to the row for
    New York
     and select
    Column B
    .
  10. Do a full recompute and then print.
If the form doesn't print, make sure it's not suppressed:
  1. In Organizer, select
    States
    Common State
    Print Options
    Print Suppression
    .
  2. Select the
    Suppression MD-RI
     tab and clear the checkbox for
    New York
     in the
    Ext
     column.
  3. Do a full recompute and then print.
