Solution
The IRS schema was updated to rename the element from
OtherDeductionTypeDesc
to OtherIncomeOrDeductionTypeDesc
. Update the K-1 aggregation file to use the correct element name.- Open the K-1 aggregation file in a text editor or XML editor.
- Locate all instances ofOtherDeductionTypeDescin the OtherDeductionLineGrp section of Schedule K-3.
- ReplaceOtherDeductionTypeDescwithOtherIncomeOrDeductionTypeDesc.
- Save the updated aggregation file.
- Reimport the corrected K-1 aggregation file into the return.
- Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
