Permit and Discharge Balances

The
MX Balances/Discharges Process
 screen is divided into two tabs:
Tabs
Description
Balances
This tab shows the permit balances available within the IMMEX system.
Discharges
This tab shows the discharge permits (how much has been already been used for the permit).
Choose how permit balances should display in the grid:
Fields
Description
Permit Type
Use this drop-down to select a Permit Type: Rule 8 or Health (COFEPRIS).
All
Selecting this option will show all registered permit balances within your system.
Only Open
Selecting this option will filter the grid to only show all available (open) balances. Closed balances will no longer appear in the grid.
Dates
Selecting this option will filter the grid to only show balances within the date range specified in the below fields:
  • Begin
    :
    Enter the desired Start Date.
  • End
    :
    Enter the desired End Date.

Balances

After the filters listed in the table above have been applied, the
Balances
 tab will show the following information:
  • Permit Number
  • Start Date
  • End Date
  • Permit Type
  • Mexican Tariff (HS)
  • Country Review Flag
  • Permit Unit of Measure
  • Permit Description
  • Original Permit Quantity
  • Permit Balance (Quantity)
  • Original Permit Value
  • Value of Permit Balance
To select a Permit Number.
  1. Review the contents of the grid.
  2. Choose a permit to view.
  3. Once you have determined a permit, click on the permit's expansion arrow on the far left.
Clicking on an expansion arrow will make the following information available for the selected permit record:
  • Invoice Number (in which the permit was used)
  • Invoice Date
  • Part Number (to which the permit belongs)
  • Tariff Number
  • Permit Amount
  • Value (of the permit)

Returns (Descargos)

The
Returns
 tab shows the remaining discharges (usage) within the permits. Use the parameters below to determine which discharges will appear in the grid:

Description
Permit Type
Use this drop-down to select a Permit Type: Regla Octava (Rule 8) or Salud (Health/COFEPRIS).
All
Selecting this option will show all discharges (usage) of all registered permit balances within your system.
All Open
Selecting this option will filter the grid to only show all open (or available) discharges.
Dates
Selecting this option will filter the grid to only show discharges within the date range specified in the below fields:
  • Begin
    :
    Enter the desired Start Date.
  • End
    :
    Enter the desired End Date.
After the grid’s parameters have been selected, the
Balances
 tab will show the following information:
  • Invoice Number (affected by the permit release)
  • Date of Invoice
  • Product Number
  • Mexican Tariff (HTS) Number
  • Unit of Measure (for the transaction)
  • Amount (of the transaction)
  • Permit Amount
  • Value (of the permit)
Clicking an expansion arrow will make the following information available for the selected invoice record:
  • Permit Number
  • Initial Date (of the permit)
  • Final Date (of the permit)
  • Permit Type
  • Permit Unit of Measure
  • Transaction Amount
  • Permit Amount Processed
  • Value of Permit Processed
